This role plays a key part in aligning production, materials, and resources, working closely with internal teams across engineering, purchasing, and operations.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan and schedule production activities based on capacity and material availability<\/li>\n<li>Review engineering drawings and multi-level BOMs to support make vs buy decisions<\/li>\n<li>Monitor material supply and provide clear direction to Purchasing on requirements and timelines<\/li>\n<li>Identify and manage critical path items, ensuring any risks to schedule are addressed early<\/li>\n<li>Expedite materials where required to maintain production timelines<\/li>\n<li>Raise and manage accurate works orders to support manufacturing output<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain production part numbers and manufacturing BOMs where needed<\/li>\n<li>Provide regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting any risks or delays<\/li>\n<li>Support pricing requests for spares linked to sales orders<\/li>\n<li>Attend planning, sales, and operations meetings to forecast workload and resource needs<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to KPI reporting, tracking planning performance vs actuals<\/li>\n<li>Act as a subject matter expert for the MRP system, supporting training and onboarding<\/li>\n<li>Build strong working relationships across all operational departments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Experience Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience using MRP or ERP systems within a manufacturing environment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs)<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of manufacturing processes<\/li>\n<li>Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and planning tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Attributes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Able to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities<\/li>\n<li>Strong team player with a collaborative approach<\/li>\n<li>Process-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement<\/li>\n<li>Proactive problem solver with a
