Even with their substantial growth over the years they have retained their culture and ethos of a friendly and professional family business. They are a \u00a3multi-million national company and well respected business.<\/p>\n<p>They are looking for an Internal Sales Executive to join their team. The role is a proactive internal sales role selling construction materials whilst supporting the regional external sales team to service an established customer base as well as converting prospect accounts into trading customers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties for the Internal Sales Executive will involve:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Generating new &amp; managing existing business within a defined area of the UK<\/li>\n<li>Identify and target new accounts<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and develop existing accounts<\/li>\n<li>Build strong relationships with Customers and Suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Respond to all customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner<\/li>\n<li>Using the Order Processing and Credit Control systems to provide administration support to the external sales team.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively organise databases for distributing stock notes and supporting company marketing activities<\/li>\n<li>Be happy to work to company expectations in relation to target income, company procedures and KPIs<\/li>\n<li>Embrace training development on sales and product knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Experience for the Internal Sales Executive:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience in a product based internal sales environment<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in managing and generating new business<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build and maintain business relationships<\/li>\n<li>Excellent administrative skills and experience in order processing<\/li>\n<li>Must have desire and aptitude to learn<\/li>\n<li>Driven, ambitious and highly motivated<\/li>\n<li>Confident with a strong desire for a successful career in sales<\/li>\n<li>Personable, presentable and professional<\/li>\n<li>Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection<\/li>\n<li>Must enjoy and be able to communicate effectively<\/li>\n<li>Good computer skills \u2013 Microsoft Office and CRM systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Further Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>37.5 hour working week, Monday &#8211; Friday<\/li>\n<li>25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays with option to purchase further holidays and holidays increasing over time<\/li>\n<li>Annual company bonus scheme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note that due to a high volume of applications across all our adverts we are only able to respond to those who have been shortlisted.
