Overview<\/strong>
\nWe are seeking an experienced Resolutions & Recoveries Specialist to join a growing finance team within a fast-paced financial services environment. This role focuses on managing a portfolio of defaulted, over-term, and high-risk loans, with responsibility for delivering effective recovery strategies while minimising financial exposure.<\/p>\n

This is a high-impact position suited to candidates with strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and experience in recoveries, collections, or credit risk.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Portfolio Management<\/em>
\n\u2022 Manage a portfolio of defaulted, over-term, and high-risk loan cases
\n\u2022 Assess borrower financial positions, security, and overall recoverability
\n\u2022 Monitor case progress, ensuring timely resolution of accounts<\/p>\n

Recovery Strategy & Analysis<\/em>
\n\u2022 Evaluate and recommend appropriate exit strategies (e.g. refinance, asset sale, development completion)
\n\u2022 Conduct cost-benefit analysis on recovery options, including enforcement and settlement strategies
\n\u2022 Analyse potential shortfalls and recommend further recovery actions
\n\u2022 Prepare structured recovery strategy reports for senior stakeholders<\/p>\n

Stakeholder & Case Coordination<\/em>
\n\u2022 Liaise with solicitors, valuers, insolvency practitioners, and other third parties
\n\u2022 Monitor legal proceedings, asset disposals, and associated timelines
\n\u2022 Coordinate recovery processes to ensure efficient case progression<\/p>\n

Reporting & Compliance<\/em>
\n\u2022 Produce regular reporting, forecasts, and management information (MI)
\n\u2022 Maintain accurate and audit-ready case records
\n\u2022 Track and control recovery-related costs to maximise returns
\n\u2022 Ensure all activities align with internal policies and risk appetite<\/p>\n

Skills & Experience Required<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Proven experience in recoveries, collections, credit control, or financial services
\n\u2022 Strong analytical and financial assessment skills
\n\u2022 Experience managing complex caseloads within a fast-paced environment
\n\u2022 Excellent organisational and time management abilities
\n\u2022 Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
\n\u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis<\/p>\n

Desirable Experience<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Experience with delinquent accounts and recovery strategies
\n\u2022 Background in short-term or specialist lending
\n\u2022 Exposure to legal processes, insolvency, or enforcement
\n\u2022 Experience working to recovery targets and KPIs<\/p>\n
