About the Role:

Veritas Education is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join a friendly primary school in Lancaster. This is a full-time position covering a long-term sickness absence, offering stability and the chance to make a real impact in the classroom.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons for a Year 3 class, ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills and a passion for creating a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Assess and monitor pupil progress
• Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in KS2 (Year 3 preferred)
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse needs
• A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
