We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Negotiator to join a well-established estate agency and be part of it’s ongoing success. This is a rare chance for an enthusiastic and professional candidate to channel their energy into this newly created role and realise their full potential with full support and training from this experienced and successful team.

You will be involved in all aspects of the day to day activities of the sales office, liaising with vendors and purchasers, and maximising potential interest in the properties.

Duties will include:

  • Greeting visitors to the office and answering telephone calls in a friendly and professional way.
  • Registering interest and contact details for potential buyers and vendors, obtaining and organising valuations and taking details of offers.
  • Arranging viewings and helping to manage the team diary.
  • Proactively following up on viewings.
  • Advising buyers and sellers on the sales/purchase process.
  • Showing potential buyers around properties.
  • Assisting with the arrangement of conveyancing, financial advice and surveyors.
  • Liaising closely with colleagues regarding updates on property sales, referrals and leads.

Skills and experience:

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and professional candidate to progress in the exciting field of property sales. Full training and coaching will be given and whilst there is no direct experience of property sales required, this role will suit a candidate who has a passion for property, coupled with strong customer service skills and a focus for sales.

You must be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent customer service, negotiation and sales skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time keeping skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure to meet sales targets.
  • A desire to succeed as part of a team.

This is a full-time position, working Tuesday to Saturday, 8.30 – 5.30 (non-working days Sundays and Mondays). 

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and be over 18 years of age for insurance purposes.
