As a Sports Coach, you will have the opportunity to work with students who find mainstream education challenging and provide them with the tools to succeed. Sports coaches will receive competitive pay, with daily rates starting at £70 to £80, depending on your education and experience.

Simply Education are working with a SEND School in Newcastle Under Lyme who are looking to recruit an outstanding Sports Coach to become a Teaching Assistant within their setting immediately. 

The school are searching for someone who is happy to provide both classroom support, as well as support during outdoor activities.

You will need to have strong rapport building skills and looking to development your knowledge and skills within an education setting. 

Key responsibilities:

Model and promote a positive mindset.

Supporting individual or small groups of students with their learning

Supervising students during lessons and break times

Helping to maintain classroom discipline and manage behaviour.

Assisting with administrative tasks, such as grading and record-keeping

Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN,SEMH)

Preparation and setup of classroom activities and materials

Supporting with individualized student programs

Providing feedback to teachers on student progress

Participating in professional development and training opportunities.
