Construction / Quantity Surveyor Graduate, Hull, Salary £20,000 to £25,000 + Benefits. Arlington Moore is working exclusively on behalf of a construction company who are growing from strength to strength. As part of this growth they are looking to appoint a graduate to work in their Commercial Team as an Assistant Estimator. This is a role with a clear progression plan to suit the changing needs of the business and would suit someone with the ambition to match this.

This role will suite a Graduate either in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or Project Management. You may already have some experience within construction and now you are looking to move into Estimating or just looking for a company where you can progress. As the Assistant Estimator you will be responsible for generating complete and detailed costings for sales enquiries that fulfil the customer requirements. Other duties will include.

Supporting the delivery of the commercial and pricing element of a tender or cost plan. Completing or managing project take–offs to the required level of detail. Leading the supply chain enquiry process. Presenting work to customers and team members in a coherent, detailed fashion.

Analysing cost information, and question when required. Identifying project risks and opportunities. Building excellent relationships with our Subcontractors. Assisting in generating programmes of works.
