REFRIGERATED DISPLAY CABINET CLEANING SUPPORT ENGINEER
(NIGHT SHIFT)
This is a very new and exciting opportunity for an experienced support technician/labourer to carry out maintenance, service and repair work on commercial refrigerated display cabinets and other refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump systems.
As the Maintenance Handyperson, you will be working for a facilities management company with nationwide coverage, on a large maintenance contract. Your role will require you to travel within a designated cluster of commercial stores.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Handyperson:

Service, maintenance and repair of commercial refrigerated display cabinets and other RACHP systems

Ensuring that all work is completed to an agreed standard

Completing job reports, including correct parts and estimated time details as required

Assisting the lead engineer and maintaining regular contact with other team members e.g. contract support administrator, supervisor, manager

Assist with the other building services work as required to specified standards such as BESA SFG20.

Ensure company Technical, Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards are maintained outlined within the Health & Safety Handbook, Quality and Environmental policies/standards

To perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements of the Maintenance Handyperson:

Appropriate apprenticeship or equivalent experience e.g. Relevant RACHP, Retail, Commercial, Construction, Building Services, Facilities or Labouring experience.

Competence in safely dismantling and reassembly of refrigerated display cabinets, including handling required relevant equipment such as pressure washers, wet vacuums, hand drills, etc.

Experience working within a dynamic/flexible team environment acting as lead engineer, ideally covering day/night shifts to support business requirements.

Right to work in the UK
Hours: (NIGHT SHIFT)
Working hours are 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. 22:00 – 06:00
