POSITION: We are looking for Registered General Nurse
BAND: 5
SALARY: £28/hr up to £45/hr
LOCATION: The position is based in Bridgend
SPECIFICATIONS: Days, nights weekends available. Consistent as well as flexible shifts available, weekly pay on every Friday, block bookings
JOB PURPOSE:
-
To deliver specialist SLT assessment and treatment for adult inpatients within a rehabilitation (and acute) setting using the principles of evidence-based practice
-
To be able to independently manage a complex and demanding clinical caseload, across two sites
-
To contribute to the development of relevant trust policies and procedures
-
To assist in the supervision and training of junior SLT staff members.
QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-
Up-to-date CV
-
Overseas Police Check, if any
-
Indemnity Insurance
-
Diploma or degree leading to the RCSLT Certificate of Practice.
-
Registered member of the Health Professions Council.
-
BSc or recognized Postgraduate Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy
-
Experience in working with aphasia, cognitive-communication disorder, dysarthria, apraxia and dysphagia.
-
Possess excellent organization and communication skills.
