As the University of East London approaches its 125th anniversary, the University is embarking on a c.£300 million masterplan. We are seeking to make the appointment of Project Manager to join its Estates Development Team.
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the design and development of new build and refurbishment projects across the University’s estate. As part of the Connected Campus transformation programme, you will lead on the brief development, design, construction and delivery of significant investment across their estate, redeveloping, modernising, and creating world class facilities for students[LO2] , and staff.
We are seeking candidates that possess relevant experience in a project leadership role with responsibility for procuring and managing construction and property projects of a comparable nature. You will have strong commercial management skills, with the proven track record of managing project budgets and leading on contract procurement and management of external consultants and contractors. The role requires individuals to possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the drive, credibility, and authority to lead and manage stakeholder groups, project teams and internal team members.
