To continue making progress in closing the UK digital skills gap, my client is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their recruitment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving client relationships, activity, and fee generation. 80% of the role will consist of facilitating permanent and contract placements and 20% of the role will consist of facilitating apprenticeship starts within the digital sector.

To give you some insight, tasks associated with the role include:

  • Achieving set activity and billing targets
  • Generating success from sales calls
  • Sourcing and managing high quality candidates
  • Managing client relationships to the highest standard
  • Effectively cross selling all aspects of the training portfolio
  • Creating new business tenders and pitches
  • Supporting Senior Management with agreed duties
  • Mentoring and supporting colleagues in achievement of their own personal goals
  • Supporting new starters with their integration into the business

Essentially, supported by the client development, marketing, and apprenticeship resourcing functions, the successful candidate will manage the start to end recruitment process. They will be tasked with creating new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and resourcing to generate high quality candidates.

Other responsibilities include carrying out intelligent marketing, conducting face to face meetings and completing business development telephone calling. The successful candidate will always promote the range of products and services that this Tech Industry Gold Provider offers, ensuring that they find the right answers and are able to create sustainable business opportunities for their client.

We are looking for:

  • Candidates with experience of working in business development, apprenticeship sales, account management or recruitment in the digital/IT landscape
  • Candidates who have held positions of influence in roles such as senior account manager, senior business development manager, team leader
  • Candidates with experience of managing the 360-degree recruitment process within apprenticeship recruitment or/and temp and perm recruitment
  • Candidates with account management/business development experience within the skills and training sector
