Job Role: Customs Clearance Clerk
Location: Manchester
Salary: £20,000 to £30,000

All Sales Recruitment Ltd are looking to speak with a European Road Freight Operator to join a freight forwarding client based in Manchester.

The client is a family owned multi-modal forwarder with a fantastic reputation in the industry.  They have been operating for over 40 years and have grown a trusted worldwide network to ensure freight is delivered in a timely and cost efficient manner.

The client is looking to recruit a number of Customs Clearance Clerks to assist in the upturn in workload due to business growth and new regulations.  Both senior and junior roles are available with salary dependant on experience.

Responsibilities 

• Following clearly defined processes to complete customs entries for imports and exports
• Processing all associated documentation
• Inputting all declaration information into relevant systems with a high degree of accuracy
• Liaising with customers and other departments as required
• Helping to ensure processes are compliant with HMRC regulations

Requirements:

• Experience in a customs clearance role
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience of a freight forwarding environment
