Synopsis
Darya Kay Iss Paar is the story of a young girl living in a far-off mountainous valley in Pakistan. Gul Zareen has spent her entire life burdened by the rigid values of the people in her small village. And with every passing year, the hope of a better life across the river is slowly fading away for Gul Zareen. Throwing her into bouts of depression and compelling her to take her own life.
DIRECTOR BIO
Shoaib Sultan is an engineer by profession but has also been involved in various theatrical productions across Pakistan. Although he has a vast experience in the fields of acting, writing and direction of many stage plays, Darya Kay Iss Paar is his debut project as a film director.
