Synopsis
A Journey Through Perseverance is a short documentary. It tells the life story of Asif, a fearless Hazara boxer who is determined and dreams to become a world champion.
Despite a lack of resources and support he wishes to make Pakistan proud, through his accomplishments in boxing.
Viewers will get to see reactions from Asif’s family and coaches as the boxer trains hard to become victorious.
DIRECTOR BIO
Safar Ali Danish is an independent filmmaker from Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan. He graduated from Iqra University, Karachi with a major in Film and TV.
He has produced many award-winning documentaries, showcasing at different film festivals around the world.
Besides A Journey Through Perseverance, he has also produced/directed and edited the documentary film, Parwaz Dar Shab (Flying In Darkness).
