"This song makes me so happy! Freshness overloaded!"
After the remarkably successful ‘Kala Chashma’, Baar Baar Dekho has released another catchy song – ‘Nachde Ne Saare’!
This dynamic wedding song encompasses a strong Punjabi flavour and depicts the idea of dancing like there’s no tomorrow.
In the music video, Katrina Kaif enchants in a floral chaniya-choli. Sidharth Malhotra dons a simple kurta with a Nehru jacket on top.
Aditya Sharma’s lyrics are truly phenomenal, with the beautiful chorus line:
“Nachde ne saare, ral mil ke, aaj hil dul ke. Le saare ke saare nazaare.”
Doesn’t it make you want to get up and shake a leg?
We also get a glimpse of Sarika and Ram Kapoor (Sidharth’s on-screen parents) grooving to the track, performed by Jasleen Royal.
The stunning video has crossed 3.8 million views on YouTube since releasing on August 23, 2016. Audience and critics have responded well to the song.
Reviewing the song, Joginder Tuteja of Bollywood Hungama notes:
“Expect this to be a family affair as Jasleen Royal, Harshdeep Kaur and Siddharth Mahadevan get singing with good energy on display.”
Tuteja has given 3.5 stars to the album.
YouTube user Roshaan Aqib exclaims: “Katrina – Never looked better before! Even her dance moves are so improved!”
Gayathri Jayanthi adds: “This song makes me so happy and fills me with positive energy! Freshness overloaded!”
Baar Baar Dekho marks the directorial debut of Nitya Mehra.
It has been quite an eventful journey for the filmmaker. She says:
“It’s been exciting, nerve wracking and a great learning. I had immense support from an extremely passionate crew and actors that pampered me and my vision for this film.”
The romantic film is produced by ace directors, Karan Johar and Farhan Akhtar (with Riteish Sidhwani).
It also unites B-Town hotties, Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif, on the big screen screen for the first time.
Baar Baar Dekho releases on September 9, 2016.
