Katrina Kaif walked the ramp for designer Manish Malhotra in what may have been the most showstopping moment of any fashion show! DESIblitz has the details.
"I think Katrina and Aditya are tall, beautiful, very today, sexy and glamorous."
Stop what you’re doing and take a peek at how stunning Katrina Kaif looks whilst walking the ramp for fashion mogul, Manish Malhotra.
The Fitoor (2016) actress definitely stole the limelight during the Indian designers extravaganza, wearing a truly mind blowing avatar.
Donning a gorgeous gold lehenga, Kaif’s sculpted abs were proudly displayed.
A sea of glistening embroidery swept over the star’s bust, painting her as the golden goddess that she is.
Its materials were sheer and lightweight, creating an ethereal look for the B-town beauty.
But Kaif wasn’t the only star to rock the runway in Manish Malhotra’s designs.
Her co-star Aditi Roy Kapoor also strutted his stuff down the catwalk, and looked as handsome as ever in a similar colour palette.
His golden avatar was heavily patterned, which complimented the actors height with its a-line fit.
Speaking of the two showstoppers, Manish commented:
“It’s very organic. I think Katrina and Aditya are tall, beautiful, very today, sexy and glamorous.
“I have worked with Aditya before and he looks very good in an Indian attire. Of course, Katrina looks very beautiful and I think they make perfect showstoppers for the collection.”
Indeed, the two superstars were ideal for showcasing such a collection, as each design was rich with Indian heritage.
Using traditional Indian weaves to create each ensemble, Manish has brought dying desi crafts to the forefront of media attention.
Respecting India’s talent and textile prowess, he stated:
“For all this dying crafts, it’s important that a few of the designers get it out there in focus in their own style. I am doing it in my own style.”
This style was unique, spell bounding, and most definitely mesmerizing.
And with Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor modelling each avatar, this is one fashion show we won’t be forgetting any time soon.
