“I love camera. I love posing and I believe in keeping it real.”
The second season of India’s Next Top Model is finally here!
Like Season 1, the modelling reality show kicks off with a visual feast, introducing the contestants in a sizzling bikini show.
They meet and greet with the panel of judges that we have come to know so well – Lisa Haydon, Dabboo Ratnani, Anusha Dandekar and last but not least, the charismatic Neeraj Gaba.
The girls also take their first ever Top Model challenge.
Remember Season 1’s superhero photoshoot for the four finalists? That’s what the girls have to deal with on their first day!
So which model is the sexiest? Who is going to cause mayhem in the house? Who will come out on top?
DESIblitz has all you need to know about the 13 hopefuls on India’s Next Top Model Season 2!
Don’t let her slender figure and soft features fool you.
Ana is an athlete at state level, so she means business when she says she is tough and adventurous!
We won’t be surprised to see her nail those infamously nerve-racking Top Model challenges with ease.
As the youngest contestant in the competition, Akanksha could be the dark horse that catches judges and audience by surprise.
What she may lack in experience, this girl-next-door could make up for in fresh energy and fearlessness – as we have seen in Season 1 winner, Danielle Canute.
Fans of Channel V’s popular show The Swim Team will recognise this sensual beauty and her envious bikini bod!
She dreams of becoming an actor as a young child, saying: “I fell in love with DDLJ and that’s when I decided that I want to be an actor.”
Venturing new grounds into modelling, Ashmita is here for one reason only – to win India’s Next Top Model. Expect this tough cookie to heat things up in the house!
Jantee is no stranger to the competitive nature of the industry, having won Miss Northeast Diva 2014 and stormed into Top 10 at Femina Miss India 2015.
The dusky beauty even landed the cover shoot for Grazia India in 2015. Add that to her education background in fashion design and you have a complete package to raise the stakes in Season 2.
The beauty queen says: “I love camera. I love posing and I believe in keeping it real. I try to put it through my work and rest is on the click.”
Lekha is a bubbly Bollywood buff and aspiring model, who has appeared in a number of commercials and runway shows.

Who would have thought this beautiful girl was both an architect student and a finalist at Miss India 2015?
Minash has done it all before – catwalks, fashion shoots and ad campaigns. She is here to show all the other girls how to smash it and ready to take the competition to the next level.
Neelam has been strutting her stuff in front of the camera since 17 years old. Auditioning for India’s Next Top Model is only the next natural step in her booming career.
She says: “When I won a couple of pageants I participated in, I began to take serious notice of the profession.
“And before I knew it, I was doing assignments in Pune and also walking the ramp at fashion weeks in Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam.”
But this lovely girl is not without flaws. Her fear of water and height can only mean one thing – drama and chaos at the Top Model photoshoots. We shall see if Neelam can come out the other end stronger!
With only two years of modelling experience under her belt, Poulomi blows us away with an amazing portfolio of high fashion photoshoots.
She can rock anything from Desi attire to Western designs. Her passion and ambition will undoubtedly take her far in Season 2 of India’s Next Top Model.
Like Jantee, Pranati is another Miss India alumni and fashion student.
Tall, sweet and sexy, she is determined not be defined by her looks by exploring her skills and interests in painting, yoga, singing, dancing and fashion design.
These will no doubt aid her quest in winning the weekly challenges in the show and places her as one of the strongest contenders to reach the top.
Aren’t you inspired by Priya’s transformation from a slightly chubby girl to how she rules in her bikini whilst greeting the esteemed judges?
The talented dancer and model is laid-back most of the time, but she could get a little bossy too. The question is: can she own her Top Model spotlight with the same level of intensity and brilliance?

Season 2 winner will secure two one-year modelling contracts with Livon Serum and Bling Entertainment Solutions.
In addition to ad campaigns with online fashion retailer Abof, she will also get a fashion spread in Cosmopolitan India magazine.
Following in Season 1’s tradition, the three finalists will walk the ramp at Lakmé Fashion Week 2016.
